Welcome to MR MRS ENGLISH, an English learning platform built for students, teachers, and self-learners who want to write and speak the language with confidence. We publish grammar lessons, vocabulary guides, sentence examples, and speaking resources that hold up in the classroom, in exam preparation, and in everyday conversation.
Every lesson is researched, written, and reviewed by qualified English teachers, so what you read is accurate and ready to put to work.
Who We Are
MR MRS ENGLISH is run by a team of professional English teachers, ESL trainers, and education writers. Between us we cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence structure, and written and spoken communication, and we bring real classroom experience to every topic we publish.
Founded in 2023, the site grew out of a single aim: to turn the questions real learners ask into lessons they can apply the same day.
Meet Our Editorial Team
Daniel Brooks, Founder and Senior Content Writer
Daniel Brooks founded MR MRS ENGLISH and leads its editorial direction. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Edinburgh and is a certified ESL instructor with more than eight years of teaching experience. His professional training covers TESOL, TEFL, English grammar, and advanced English communication. Daniel sets the publishing standards for the site and reviews lessons for accuracy before they go live.
Jessica Hayes, English Language Trainer and Content Writer
Jessica is a CELTA-certified English trainer from the United Kingdom with a Bachelor’s degree in English and more than four years of teaching experience. She specializes in grammar, vocabulary, writing, and spoken English, and she has a talent for breaking difficult rules into lessons learners can follow without a teacher beside them.
Amelia Stone, English Vocabulary Specialist and Blog Writer
Amelia Stone is an English language trainer and writer from the United States with four years of teaching experience and a focus on vocabulary. She builds her lessons around images, plain-English meanings, and real-life sentences that make new words stick, whether the reader is a child, a student, or an adult learner.
Our Editorial Process
Every article passes through review before publication. An editor checks grammar rules, definitions, and example sentences for accuracy, then reads the piece the way a learner would to confirm it holds together from start to finish.
We revisit published lessons as language use, exam standards, and learner needs shift, so the material stays current for study, teaching, and exam preparation.
Our Mission
We want quality English education to be free and within reach of anyone with an internet connection. In practice that means explaining grammar in a way that sticks, widening the vocabulary learners rely on, and writing lessons that carry straight into real conversation and writing.
Whether you are starting out, pushing toward advanced fluency, teaching a class, or helping your child with homework, MR MRS ENGLISH is built to support you.
