It’s no use + (verb + ing)

Nothing will be gained by doing something. When you want to say something like that in English. then you will use this structure. For example, It’s no use cleaning up.

Structure:
“It’s no use + gerund (verb-ing).”

It’s no use complaining.
It’s no use crying.
It’s no use repenting.
It’s no use coming here.
It’s no use talking to you.
It’s no use sporting then.
It’s no use separating them.
It’s no use apologizing.
It’s no use attempting to please him.
It’s no use checking on it yet.

If I were you, I would + (verb):

You will use this structure to say in English what you would do if you were someone else. This structure is used for the present. For example, If I were you, I would enjoy the party.

Structure:
“If + (I) + were + (you/he/she/they) + would + first form of the verb.”

If I were you, I would enjoy my vacation.
If I were you, I would do it.
If I were you, I would do it at once.
If I were you, I would help him.
If I were you, I would answer the question.
If I were you, I would do that job.
If I were you, I would talk to that man.
If I were you, I would believe me either.
If I were you, I would get in there right now.
If I were you, I would just get the hell out of here.

This structure is used for what would you do if you were someone else. and use these structures for the past. For example, If I were you, I would have done my homework.

Structure:
“If + (I) + were + (you/he/she/they) + would have + past participle (V3).”
